Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology city is in the west of Sanya City, Hainan Province, China. According to the Overall Plan for the Construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, the overall planning area is 69.3 square kilometers, we focus on the industrial layout of Nanfan Breeding Sci-Tech, Deep-Sea Sci-Tech and Scientific Research fields.

Nanfan Breeding Sci-Tech Town is nearly 4.02 square kilometers. With the Nanfan science and technology industry as its core, it focuses on animal and plant breeding technology, international seed industry transactions, germplasm resource property rights transactions, seed industry intellectual property transactions, tropical agricultural sciences, etc., and is committed to fostering the industrialized, market-oriented, specialized and intensive national Nanfan Scientific and Research Breeding Base and the Tropical Agricultural Science Center.

Deep-Sea Sci-Tech Town is about 5.39 square kilometers. With marine technology as its core industry, the town focuses on three major areas: deep-sea technology, marine industry and modern services.

Following the developing targets of Nanfan Breeding and Deep-Sea Sci-Tech industry, and basing on the main method of "Research Institute + Graduate School", we have attracted 11 high-level scientific research institutions and colleges, such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Ocean University of China, China Agricultural University, and Wuhan University of Technology, which help us to create a platform of integrated services of production, education and research, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship and achievement transformation.

Nanshan Port focuses on marine scientific research, marine experiment and port industry. With a planned coastline (including the existing coastline) of 7,165 linear meters, and a land area (including the existing land area) of 2.76 square kilometers, it can handle around 20 scientific research and support ships at the same time after being finished.

Import and Transfer Base of Global Animal and Plant Germplasm Resources covers an area of 0.5 square kilometers. It will introduce global animal, plant, and microbial germplasm resources, and form functions such as inspection and isolation, strategic reserves, industrial applications and international trade transactions.


三亚崖州湾科技城位于中国海南省三亚市的西部,围绕《海南自由贸易港建设总体方案》要求,总体规划面积69.3平方公里,重点面向南繁科技、深海科技和科教领域规划产业布局。

南繁科技城规划面积约4.02平方公里,是以南繁科技产业为核心,围绕动植物育种科技、国际种业交易、种质资源产权交易、种业知识产权交易、热带特色农科等方面,打造产业化、市场化、专业化、集约化的国家南繁科研基地与国家热带农业科学中心。

深海科技城规划面积约5.39平方公里,是以海洋科技产业为核心,重点聚焦深海科技、海洋产业和现代服务三大领域。

围绕南繁、深海科技产业发展目标,以“研究院+研究生院”为主要方式,引进了上海交通大学、浙江大学、中国海洋大学、中国农业大学、武汉理工大学等11所高水平科研机构和高等院校,形成产学研一体化服务和创新创业与成果转化平台。

南山港核心功能以海洋科考、海洋试验及临港产业为主,规划形成岸线总长(含现有岸线)7165延米,形成陆域面积(含现有陆域)2.76平方公里,完全建成后可同时满足近20艘各类科考、保障船停靠。

全球动植物种质资源引进中转基地规划面积约0.5平方公里,将引入全球动物、植物、微生物种质资源,具备检验隔离、战略储备、产业应用、国际贸易交易等功能。
